Without urgent relief, countless displaced families will struggle to survive this winter.
Thousands of families are returning to their homelands in Syria and Afghanistan with almost nothing to protect them from the harsh winter conditions they must now face.
In Jordan and Lebanon, many refugee families continue to live in extremely vulnerable conditions. Parents, children, and the elderly need urgent support to stay warm, repair and weatherproof their shelters if they are to stay protected from the worst of the winter months.
As we have always done, UNHCR is on the ground providing much-needed relief and support to as many people as possible. But as funding cuts continue to impact our operations, we cannot do it alone.
