Floods across Nigeria have displaced hundreds of thousands, shutting down transport lines and destroying thousands of hectares of farmlands just before harvest season, leaving families in a dire situation, unable to provide basic life essentials to their loved ones.
Many of those affected had already been forced to flee their homes due to conflict and the impacts of climate change. The floods have further compounded their hardships.
Donate now to help provide emergency relief.
UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is on the ground in Borno State and across Nigeria, distributing cash assistance to those most at-risk and delivering essential supplies to displaced families so they can build makeshift shelters and stay safe.
But as the needs of those affected continue to grow, more help is desperately needed.
