Families walk for miles in harsh conditions, in search of clean water. The risk of sickness and disease is high. They constantly pray for relief, and a way to provide this most basic need for their families.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
Surface water and temporary reservoirs are a main water source for Bangladesh’s refugee camps, but yearly flash floods destroy the fragile rainwater dams. Due to the prolonged dry season from November to May, even less water was collected – leading to a severe rationing of water for refugees.
Grave funding cuts to UNHCR programmes limit our ability to support those in need – we cannot do it alone.
Securing clean water is vital for drinking, sanitation, hygiene and more, and your donation can help maintain the water networks refugees heavily rely on.
