Urgent Appeal: Help provide emergency relief to displaced families in Lebanon.
With a 10-day ceasefire announced on April 16th, the displaced are ready to return to their homes though still closely monitoring how the situation evolves. People want to return, but more than anything they want to feel safe.
Since March 2nd 2026, more than one million people have been displaced.
1 out of 5 people in Lebanon are now displaced, including over 370,000 children. This situation has driven widespread fear, anxiety, and psychological distress, particularly among communities already exhausted by years of instability and repeated displacement. They need urgent and immediate support.
UNHCR is on the ground, bringing lifesaving relief in the form of protection services, shelter support, much-needed cash assistance, and core relief items to those in need.
