After airstrikes and evacuation warnings, many have been on the move since the morning of March 2nd. As they flee on foot and in their vehicles, roads are congested, and movement is slow.
Families left home with only what they could carry, spending the night in their cars, unsure of where to find safety.
Working with the government and partners on the ground, UNHCR has mobilized to respond to urgent emerging needs with lifesaving relief. We stand ready to scale up relief efforts as necessary.
