Lebanon Emergency: Recent attacks have displaced thousands of families. Please donate to provide life-saving relief.
The bombings and violence in Lebanon continue to escalate, claiming innocent lives and forcing tens of thousands to flee their homes.
ٍSince October 2023:
- More than 1.2 Million people have been forced from their homes. (According to Lebanese authorities)
- 2,448 people, including children, women, medical workers, and 2 UNHCR colleagues have been killed.
- Over 11,471 people have been injured across the country.
In Lebanon, UNHCR is providing urgent aid to Lebanese families and refugees displaced by the recent attacks, in the form of core relief items like blankets and mattresses, cash assistance, trauma kits, shelter, and medical care.
In search of safety, thousands of families (over 425,000 Lebanese and Syrians) have also crossed the border into Syria, arriving by bus, car and on foot, exhausted after walking for hours, carrying only the essentials in their bags. Together with our partners at the border, we are providing urgent aid to those arriving.
The needs of all those impacted are huge. We call on your urgent support to help us continue our efforts to provide them with critical relief.
