Rohingya refugees need urgent help with safe shelter and protection.
Since mid-June, a total of 773 landslide incidents have been registered in Cox’s Bazar after rainfall lashed across several regions in Bangladesh. With close to 2,000 refugees displaced and 8,000 refugees affected, their need for support is urgent.
Nearly one million Rohingya refugees sought safety in Bangladesh after fleeing persecution and violence in Myanmar. Now, monsoonal rains, floods, cyclones, and landslides, are a grave threat to their safety once more, causing even more difficulty for those living in exile.
